What exactly is Bigtop?
Bigtop is a digital event-hosting platform with registration pages, a live stage, audience interaction, and replay tools. Capabilities vary by monthly plan.
Do you sell tickets for me?
Paid ticket pages are available on qualifying plans. You connect your own Stripe account; Bigtop does not handle or hold ticket proceeds.
Is there a 14-day trial?
Free for 14 days. No credit card required. Nothing is charged during the trial.
How do attendees access an event?
They use the registration and event access details supplied by the organizer. Bigtop does not mail physical tickets.
Does Bigtop work offline?
Events require an internet connection. Offline event hosting is not supported.
Which browsers are supported?
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on a supported desktop or mobile operating system. Keep the browser updated for security and compatibility.
What is the difference between the four plans?
Sideshow is for 2 events/month and 50 attendees/event; Matinee supports 5 and 200; Bigtop supports 15 and 1,000 with paid ticket pages and moderated Q&A; Grandstand adds unlimited events/attendees, multi-track rooms, caption tracks, and 15 seats.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes. In a production account, plan changes would be managed from account settings. This static demo does not process live billing changes.
How do I cancel?
Cancel in your account settings in a production account. There is no cancellation fee.
What is the refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 30 days of any payment, no questions asked. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Who owns attendee data?
100% belongs to the organizer. The event organizer controls attendee data, subject to applicable law and the service terms.
Can you guarantee attendance?
No. Bigtop does not promise or guarantee attendance numbers. Registration pages and reminder emails are tools for organizers; attendance depends on the audience and circumstances.
How long are replays stored?
Sideshow stores replays for 7 days, Matinee for 30 days, Bigtop for 90 days with chapter markers, and Grandstand for 1 year with downloadable export.
Does Bigtop offer translation or caption tracks?
Grandstand includes translation/caption tracks. Availability and exact functionality should be confirmed in the current plan specifications.
How many team seats are included?
Bigtop includes 5 seats and Grandstand includes 15 seats. Sideshow and Matinee include 1 seat.
